By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The investigation continues today into yesterday’s early morning fire at the Riverdale Mills Corporation in Northbridge. The State Fire Marshall’s office was at the scene on Riverdale Street and the initial investigation revealed no evidence that the cause of the blaze was suspect. No one was injured and all employees were able to get out of the building as the fire got its start around 4:20 yesterday morning with firefighters from surrounding towns helped to contain the flames to a machine room. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke and fire that could be seen through the roof of the building with multiple alarms being sounded sending mutual aid to help battle the fire. The company runs 24-hours a day and is one of the largest manufacturers of welded wire mesh in the world and the town of Northbridge’s biggest employer.
